The Amity Affliction is an Australian band formed in 2003 in Gympie, Queensland. The current lineup includes Joel Birch (vocals), Ahren Stringer (bass, vocals), Dan Brown (guitar), and Joe Longobardi (drums). Known for their emotive lyrics addressing mental health issues, they've released several acclaimed albums, including Chasing Ghosts, Let the Ocean Take Me, and This Could Be Heartbreak. Their latest album, Not Without My Ghosts, was released in 2023.
