Pierce the Veil is an American band formed in 2006 in San Diego, California, by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes. The band gained recognition with their unique blend of post-hardcore, pop-punk, and emo influences. Their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic (2007), began their rise, but it was their second album, Selfish Machines (2010), and their hit Collide with the Sky (2012) that truly established them in the rock scene.
