Northlane is an Australian band formed in 2009. Known for their innovative sound, the band combines heavy breakdowns, atmospheric elements, and introspective lyrics. They gained widespread recognition with their debut album Discoveries (2011) and solidified their place in the metalcore scene with Singularity (2013). After the departure of original vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes, Marcus Bridge joined as the new vocalist, leading to the release of Node (2015) and Mesmer (2017). Their 2019 album Alien marked a shift towards a more experimental and personal direction, earning critical acclaim.
