Erra is an American band formed in 2009. Known for their intricate guitar work, atmospheric soundscapes, and a mix of clean and harsh vocals, Erra has become a prominent name in the progressive metalcore scene. The band’s name is inspired by the Akkadian god of chaos. They gained widespread recognition with their debut EP Andromeda (2010) and their full-length albums Impulse (2011), Augment (2013), and Drift (2016). Their later albums, such as Neon (2018) and Erra (2021), further solidified their reputation for blending technicality with emotional depth.
