Formed in 2001 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Alexisonfire is a Canadian post-hardcore band known for their dynamic blend of melodic and aggressive elements. The original lineup consisted of George Pettit (vocals), Dallas Green (vocals, rhythm guitar), Wade MacNeil (lead guitar, vocals), Chris Steele (bass), and Jesse Ingelevics (drums), who was later replaced by Jordan Hastings. They released their self-titled debut album in 2002, followed by "Watch Out!" (2004), "Crisis" (2006), and "Old Crows/Young Cardinals" (2009). After a brief disbandment in 2011, the band reunited in 2015 and released "Otherness" in 2022. Their music features a distinctive combination of contrasting vocal styles and intricate guitar work, contributing to their significant impact on the post-hardcore scene.
