Adept is a Swedish post-hardcore and metalcore band formed in 2004 in Trosa. Known for their melodic yet heavy sound, the band released their debut album Another Year of Disaster in 2009, which gained them international attention. Subsequent albums such as Death Dealers (2011), Silence the World (2013), and Sleepless (2016) solidified their reputation in the metalcore scene. Despite lineup changes over the years, Adept remains a prominent name in their genre.
